Today Lyon turned the big ONE!
We started the day by having coffee with Grandma Carmen and Grandpa Tom at Kalaheo Coffee. Lyon brought his drumstick to practice while we drank coffee. Afterwards, we went to his doctor checkup-all good! What a long journey to ONE and this day really brought back a lot of memories of what we went through last year. We are thankful...and indeed blessed.

Next week Lyon will be turning ONE! What a bumpy start it was and a long road to one year! He is doing great now, there seems to be no complications from his prematurity that we can see so far. He now has 4 teeth (with one more coming in on top) and is crawling like a champ. He can pull himself up to standing position on furniture and his crib. He has also developed a taste preference for plain Cheerios, bananas, sweet potato, apples, carrots. Lyon smiles and laughs constantly. His favorite person in this world is his father. He is truly a joy in our lives and every day is so fun with him. We are so thankful to have him with us in our life. In the months to come we look forward to the arrival of his sister....
