Ariki's 27th Birthday
The kids surprised Daddy (after he slept in) with two hand-made birthday cards. He loved them. A great way to start the 27th year of your life!

Funny Stories
Both these little kids seem to think it is funny to take off their diapers, jump on the bed and start dancing around naked singing their preschool song "My Body, my body, so good to be in my body!" Lyon leads the show while Kiri giggles and dances in the background.
Today we went to see Uncle Raymond's dog named Waldo. He's a beautiful chocolate lab that loves to play. After our visit we got in the car and our conversation went like this:
"mom where's Waldo?"
"He's with Uncle Raymond"
"Is Waldo eating cookies?"
"There's a good chance he is"
You gotta love it.

Funny stories
Today I made banana smoothies to freeze into pop-sickles. Lyon was so excited about them that he told me "Mommy, I need a sip. I need a sip NOW!!"
He also has discovered that he can bite his fingernails and toenails (don't ask me where cause Ariki and I don't do this). So after campaigning on his own toenails he resumed happily playing until Kiri's delicious foot caught his attention and he zoomed in straight on that. Lucky thing I was there to run interference and stop him from biting her toenails, which he threw a good battle to do, but lost. We better make sure we wear socks when we sleep :)

Poipu Beach Day
This past Holiday season was probably the most fun we had in the last 2 years (yes, since kids arrived in our party). I always love December because all our old friends that have moved away come home. The Byman-Cacals, The Litvins, Shannon, Carmel, oh! we also had the Land family from New Zealand with us! It just doesn't get better than this! Everyday was a party: we went to the beach, had a huge New Year's party, a radical ping-pong tournament that Pierre Byman took the 2010 reign, and most fun, we went CAMPING!!! We have been waiting to go camping as a family since the kids were born. We use to go all the time before them. I would say they did really good. Next year it's on! The Fosters are a camping family!
