5th Anniversary Surprise

Ariki wins the best husband ever award (sorry ladies). For our 5th anniversary this is the story: After dropping the kids off at my parents, he blindfolded me and drove me somewhere. When we finally got there he took it off only to see us standing in the OWNERS Suite of the new Marriott in Lihue ($800 a night!) on an ocean bluff. The head chef from Dukes, in full uniform, was making us a private dinner. Out on the patio overlooking the ocean and sunset we had dinner with 2 live musicians serenading us!!!! We had lobster and steak, wine and dessert. He had my favorite flowers-tuberose! And to top it all off, he got down on one knee and proposed again with my wedding rings all redone!!! Too much this husband! Love you honey!!!

Funny Lyon

Lyon jumped in his car in the yard and told me he was going to work. I asked what time he was coming home and he said "umm..around 97". He does indeed live in his own world

5 Year Anniversary!

Today marks our 5 year anniversary. I woke up this morning with a smile on my face as I remembered the day of our wedding. I feel so blessed to be married to Ariki. He's a never ending source of sunshine, encouragement, patience and love. He's a great father to our little children. He's always willing to forgive and move on. He's one of the best decisions I have ever made!
So here we are, five years later. Two beautiful children, a business, no debt and happy (most of the time. Its not always roses around here :). So here we are...and today let's toast to love and growing old together! I love you honey!!!

Little Composer

Lyon is taking after his father in music. Tonight as we lay in bed he composed his first song. It went like this (with variations):
