As of today 10-4-07 Lyon is finally breathing completely on his own! No machines! The last hurdle we need to jump before he can come home is his eating. He needs to be able to finish all the milk in his bottle for every feeding for 8 feedings in a row.

If Lyon's appetite is anything like his Dad's and Grandpa Tom's then he should be coming home soon.
I'm so happy to hear that he is now breathing on his own, as that has been the biggest issue so far. Thank God for his progress.

we can't wait to meet him in person! what an amazing story of such a little guy with such a strong fighting will. please let us know when he is home and we can come visit.
